A shooting at Oakbrook Center prompted a heavy police response Wednesday afternoon, according to Oak Brook police.
In a statement on social media around 1 p.m., police said the mall remained open and there was “no immediate threat” due to the “isolated shooting.”
“All parties involved are in custody or accounted for,” the police department said.
A media briefing is scheduled for 4 p.m.
