East Palo Alto homicide: Stabbing in Woodland Park neighborhood


A person was fatally stabbed Monday night in East Palo Alto, police said.

The attack was reported at 11:35 p.m. on the 400 block of East O’Keefe Street, on the west side of Highway 101.

Officers found a victim, identified only as male. He died at the scene after emergency treatment by police officers and paramedics.

This is East Palo Alto’s third homicide of the year. The second one — the shooting of a teenage boy on June 13 — was in the same neighborhood, near the Four Seasons hotel.
