Debris from aircraft damaged at least two high-rise buildings in the Ramenskoye district in the early hours of Tuesday, setting several flats on fire.

Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the southwestern Bryansk region that borders Ukraine, said air defence units destroyed 59 drones over the region overnight.

Several drones were also downed in Russia’s Lipetsk region, several hundred miles south of Moscow, the region’s governor Igor Artamonov, said on Telegram.

No injuries or serious damage were reported in both regions.

As a result, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova accused the Ukrainian government of becoming an ‘international terror group’ supported by the US and UK.

Ukraine has expanded its attacks on Russia over the past year, targeting regions increasingly deeper inside the territory.

Its goal is to cripple the Kremlin’s war often by striking military targets across the border.
