EastEnders star Zaraah Abrahams revealed how she balances working on a soap and motherhood.

During an Instagram Q&A a fan asked how the Chelsea Fox actress juggles ‘work and motherhood.’

She replied: ‘Sometimes very well…. and sometimes give myself a pat on the back and have an end of day G&T and sometimes with my anxiety levels in my throat praying it will all work out!?!

‘I plan plan plan plan plan and call upon my lovely community of friends and family. We are also fortunate enough to have a childminder.’

Zaraah added: ‘I’ve also surrendered to the fact that I won’t be able to make everything… but I’ll still try and make myself present in other ways… like other ways etc.

‘Mum guilt is real.. but I can and keep my logical brain loud which offers comfort and relief.’

Zaraah recently told Inside Soap that she has no plans to leave EastEnders, either, and is set to be very much a part of the action as the year heads towards that gripping climax.

‘I’ll stick with EastEnders,’ she insisted when asked if she would consider joining another soap.

‘I feel as though I’ve landed on my feet playing Chelsea,’ she continued. ‘I love working in Peggy’s because so many other characters come in and the boss is always changing.’

She also revealed she’s a big fan of the EastEnders set and especially the part of it that Chelsea shares with Whitney, Felix and Finlay.

‘Living in No 1 is great too, it’s one of the sets that feels like a home — so I’m doing well there!’ she enthused.

Alongside her role as Chelsea, Zaraah also featured on Coronation Street, playing the role of Joanne Jackson between 2005 and 2007.
