A woman died after a collision in Sunnyvale on Oct. 30, according to a press release from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
The collision between two vehicles occurred in the area of El Camino Real and Cezanne Drive, police said. Sunnyvale DPS and fire personnel responded to the incident at 11:33 a.m.
One of the drivers suffered major injuries in the crash, and a passenger in the second car suffered moderate injuries, authorities said. Both were taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

The driver later died of her injuries while at the hospital.
Police do not believe that speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Sunnyvale DPS Major Accident Investigation Team. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Investigator J. Montgomery at (408) 730-7109.
