Holiday market
Montalvo Arts Center is hosting a free holiday market on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23.
The market, open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature holiday art, crafts, collectibles and more. A boutique will also be open on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a half-off clearance sale of items at Montalvo’s Vintage Treasures Shop handmade by members of the Montalvo Service Group.
Attendees can also participate in a holiday tea on Nov. 24, with scones, sandwiches and snacks. Table reservations for the event are available at $65 per person.

Hakone tea ceremony
Hakone Estate and Gardens is hosting its next public tea ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 1.
General admission tickets are available for seatings at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. for $12.51, including fees. Hakone hosts tea ceremonies for the public on the first Sunday of the month from April through December. Visit hakone.com/events to learn more.
Wreath-making at Montalvo
On Wednesday Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m., learn how to make decorative holiday wreaths at Montalvo Arts Center.
The workshop is open to all skill levels. Water, wine, wire, sheers, a wire wreath base and greenery foraged from Montalvo’s grounds and the Santa Cruz Mountains will be provided.
