Manchester United have drawn up a three-man left-back wishlist for the January transfer window, according to reports.
AFC Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez is on the list after United – along with Liverpool – launched an enquiry for the 21-year-old Hungary international.
The second left-back on United’s wishlist is AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez, who is thought to be facing an uncertain future in Italy.
The third option – and United’s No.1 target for the left-back position – is Bayern Munich superstar Alphonso Davies, according to Sky in Germany, but the Red Devils face stiff competition from Spanish side Real Madrid.
United are prioritising a move for a left-back in January and there are various pros and cons over Kerkez, Hernandez and Davies.
Kerkez, 21, would likely be the cheapest option but he is largely still unproven at the top level having only moved to Bournemouth in July 2023.
Hernandez, 27, comes with more experience and quality but he has high wage demands and is thought to be seeking to earn €8 million (£6.7m) per season.

Davies, 24, would provide the highest level of quality of the three but it remains to be seen if United would be able to tempt him into a switch.
As well as a new left-back, United are also keen to bring in a new striker and have been looking at four different options.
One potential option is Victor Boniface, who has scored eight goals across 15 matches in all competitions for German champions Bayer Leverkusen this season.
The Red Devils have included another Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, on their four-man striker wishlist.
The other two are Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush.
Marmoush is reported to be ‘in United’s sights’ and a deal could be reached if they launch an offer in the region of €50-60m (£42-50m) for the Egyptian.
