Piccadilly line continues to be suspended in west London (Picture: Getty Images)
Trains have been suspended on part of the London Underground network after leaf fall has caused ‘poor rail conditions’ in west London.
Commuters between Uxbridge and Rayners Lane will have to find alternative ways to get to work today after the Piccadilly line remains suspended between the stations due to ‘significant leaf fall.’ The rest of the line has good service.
Elsewhere, the London Tram is suspended between Therapia Lane and Wimbledon due to power supply problems.
It comes after towns, roads and the rail network are reeling from the impact of Storm Bert followed by Storm Conall yesterday which caused flooding of homes and tracks across England and Wales. A Met Office weather warning for fog remains in place along with flood warnings.
