U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN), who is running for re-election, often posts video from his farm in Tennessee. Burchett released a new video this week of him picking up a snake in his garage.
As seen below, Burchett added: “This rat snake didn’t bite me out of professional courtesy.”

The Congressman tagged President Trump’s Secretary of Health & Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who recently made headlines for picking up a snake at Dr. Mehmet Oz’s house, and wrote: “Hey @RobertKennedyJr you got nothing on me Brother. Snakes are our friends. #SexyLegs.”

[NOTE: One of Burchett’s recent campaign ads, featuring him on his farm “doinking” the heads of two donkeys, was met with criticism from several MAGA followers who responded with praise for Burchett, but professed an unwillingness to send money to his campaign via WinRed, the Republican Party’s fundraising platform.]
This campaign ain’t funded by Hollywood money or a fancy political machine pulling the strings.
It’s mostly just patriots giving a little here and there because they still believe common sense matters.
If you can spare a little today, I’d sure appreciate the help.

Burchett is running unopposed in Tennessee’s Republican primary on August 6. He will likely face Democratic candidate Michaela Barnett in the general election.
Barnett is a scientist and small business owner who worked in Washington this past year with Rep. Paul Tonko (D-NY). Two independents — Bruce Fine and Adam Heimerman — will also be on the ballot in November.
