YouTuber dubbed ‘South Africa’s Steve Irwin’ dies after bite from a cobra

A celebrity YouTuber, known as South Africa’s Steve Irwin, has died after being bitten by a snake.

Graham ‘Dingo’ Dinkelman, 44, was bitten by a cobra around a month ago and suffered an anaphylactic shock caused by an allergic shock to the venom.

The father-of-three went into an induced coma while being treated in an intensive care unit and, in an attempt to save him, was put under heavy sedatives.

But his wife, Kirsty, confirmed that Dingo died on Saturday.

Kirsty said: ‘Dingo fought incredibly hard throughout this very difficult period. We know that he was fighting to be here with us and we are so grateful for this.
