The WWE Network will officially be shut down in the UK when Raw, SmackDown and more move to Netflix in January 2025.

In just six weeks, the sports entertainment juggernaut is bringing all the action to the streaming platform from Royal Rumble to WrestleMania and beyond as part of a massive $5 billion deal.

For the last decade, fans in the UK have had the WWE Network as a constant, one stop shop for everything from historic events and hidden gems to documentaries and more.

Fans in the US experience a change when Peacock signed on for the rights, but fans outside the United States have been fortunate to maintain access for almost 11 years.

That will all change on January 1, with WWE sending out emails to subscribers to confirm its future plans as fans call it the ‘end of an era’ for many regions affected by the Netflix move.

‘On January 1, 2025, WWE Network will no longer be available in your area. After January 1, Netflix will be the new exclusive home of WWE,’ the email reads.

‘Many of WWE’s top moments, along with historic PLEs and select programming, will be available on Netflix beginning January 1.’

‘End of an Era for WWE Network,’ wrote Inside The Ropes chief Kenny McIntosh, while fan @LANDsGal28 added: ‘Its an end of an era! Ill miss have the WWE Network ????’

Another fan, @AdamCastle__, tweeted: ‘Ngl kinda sad to see WWE Network go. End of an era! But also happy I have one less subscription to pay for ???? Very excited for the Netflix era ????????’

However, someone else pointed out that WWE will still be available on its new home.

@CaeserWrestles wrote: ‘The WWE Network shutdown marks the end of an era, but fans can still enjoy WWE content on Netflix It’s a big change, but the action continues guys!!’

It’s believed the WWE Network will close for each region as and when the Netflix deal comes into effect.
