While the fashion at Glastonbury may be dominating our social media feeds right now, we’re even more excited about what everyone will be wearing to Wimbledon this week – especially Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales.

If you’re one of the lucky few who managed to secure tickets in the ballot for the championship this July and you’re currently unsure about what to wear, relax—we’ve got you covered, quite literally.

Although there is no official dress code for Wimbledon spectators, smart attire is encouraged, particularly for those attending Centre Court and Court One matches.

Unlike the players, you’re not bound to the ‘all white’ colour scheme either, and we personally love the opportunity to showcase bright patterns, colours and our best dresses for the occasion.

However, we must point out that torn jeans, grubby trainers, sporty shorts, running vests, and anything emblazoned with a political statement, objectionable slogan, or large logo are prohibited – not that you were planning on wearing those anyway, right?

We also need to stress the importance of an appropriate outfit that can be worn all day. With the unpredictable British weather, you never know if you’ll need sunglasses, an umbrella, a jacket, a cardigan, a jumper, or all of the above – so we suggest packing a light layer to ensure you can outlast the sun.

Now that we’ve cleared that up, our shopping expert has been on the hunt for the perfect Wimbledon look and has handpicked some stunning buys that are perfect for the big event this week—or any other fancy occasion that calls for something smart-casual.
