A document circulating online claims that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are in a PR relationship and are scheduled to split later this month.

The ‘contract’ – which was written on the headed paper of Kelce’s US public relations company Full Scope – details the PR strategy for the pair’s split and reveals that the announcement of the end of their relationship would be made on September 28 specifically.

Kelce’s representatives have now denied the document’s authenticity and have called in lawyers to address the paperwork’s circulation.

A spokesman for the PR firm has now insisted that the documents are ‘entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency,’ according to the Daily Mail.

‘We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,’ they continued.

The bogus paperwork goes into intensive detail about how a statement should be released three days ‘post-breakup’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity.’

It even gives guidelines for the kind of statement that both camps should release.

It reads: ‘Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.

‘They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.’

The document also emphasises that Kelce’s desire to grow as a person should be highlighted in any statement about the breakup and that his commitment to his sports career should also be made central to the narrative.

The photos of the documents were circulated widely on social media, including Reddit where they sparked in-depth discussion among fans trying to determine if the papers could possibly be real.

User monkeyballnutty pointed out the imprecise nature of the language in the document, writing: ‘Sound’s like chatgpt tbh.’

Jatemple wrote: ‘The number one reason this looks fake to me, as someone who works in PR — there is no way he’d be doing “select interviews” in the aftermath of this. Just no. You release a statement and then it would be awhile before his team would be proactively seeking out ANY interviews. Crisis comms in this case would be to wait some time before anything other than the statement.

‘ETA: Lots of reasons this looks fake but that one is glaringly stupid from a crisis comms perspective for this scenario.’
