You head into your local supermarket for the weekly shop, but more often than not you’re distracted by on-trend dresses and new A/W coats.
Gone on the days where supermarket fashion was something to cringe at. Now, you can get a side of style along with your spuds.
But, if you’re worried about completely blowing your weekly budget every time you go to buy groceries, the UK supermarket with the most affordable fashion has been revealed.
Where is the cheapest spot for style in the aisles? George at Asda. The supermarket giant came out on top, with a full outfit costing on average £88.
The research by retail experts at Wethrift, examined the top five most popular items across dresses, jumpers, T-shirts, jeans, and coats, as well as the top five most popular accessory items across various categories, including bags, hats, scarves, belts, and shoes, to calculate an overall average.

And there’s some amazing finds to be had at Asda, who recently launched a clothing collaboration with designer brand, Roksanda, a favourite of none other than Kate Middleton.
This gorgeous burgundy knit dress is timeless – and costs just £32. There’s also this stunning sequin shirt to see you through party season for just £18.
The leopard print obsession continues with this leopard print top that’s giving Damson Madder – but for £7, it’s a fraction of the price.
And autumn season staples are also available, with red ballet flat pumps for £14, and floral quilted jackets for £30.
TikTokers are particularly invested in George’s offerings lately. In September, this viral cream dress had influencers running to stores.
