When you think of Iceland, you likely think of frozen food like pizza, vegetables, or ready meals, but the supermarket has much more to offer.

They have a selection of non-frozen goods too, and there are some exciting treats on the supermarket shelves for chocolate lovers.

That’s because the retailer is stocking rare Cadbury chocolate bars at The Food Warehouse stores, many of which you can’t normally find in the UK.

Most recently they’ve been selling several snacks imported from Australia, including a twist on Dairy Milk and Cadbury Crunchie.

Shoppers can find products such as Dairy Milk Caramilk Bites, Caramilk Crunchie Bites, Dairy Milk Strawberry Bites, Cadbury Choc Orange Cookie Bar, and Cadbury Lamington Slice.

For those wondering, the latter contains raspberry jam flavoured pieces, vanilla cake flavoured pieces, and coconut in Dairy Milk chocolate.

And customers will want to keep their eyes peeled for new American confectionery hitting the shops soon.

Andrew Staniland, the group buying director at Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse, explained to Metro.co.uk how the supermarket team select the unique sweets for everyone.

‘You will see new and exciting Cadbury products from other countries on our shelves and we currently have a selection from Australia available in our The Food Warehouse stores,’ he said.

‘We’re always looking to offer our customers products that they can’t normally buy in the UK, but from the brands they know and love.

‘The products are chosen based on how they perform in other countries, and we review this with our insight into what we know our customers are asking for.’

He added: ‘We’re currently looking at expanding our offer of american snacks across confectionery, crisps, soft drinks, and cereals, so watch this space!’

People are already loving the Australian chocolate products, with reviews cropping up for them on social media.

Over on Instagram @dobbins_eats was a fan of the Dairy Milk Strawberry Bites, writing: ‘The Cadbury milk chocolate was creamy and tasted decent. The strawberry fondant filling was thick and had nice, sweet strawberry flavour to it. Overall these were decent and they remind me of the Strawberry Cremes we have in the UK.’

Meanwhile the Choc Orange Cookie bar was hailed as ‘yummy’, and ‘delish’ on Facebook.

Elsewhere, Home Bargains has recently caused a stir online after it started selling six-packs of Milky Way Crispy Rolls for 99p. The popular chocolate treat was discontinued back in 2022, but many will be thrilled to get their hands on it once more.

And B&M shoppers have also spotted some exciting new items in-store, including KiKat Cookie Dough, Iced Latte flavoured Cadbury Twirls, and Dairy Milk Raspberry Slices.
