The Osbournes producer Michael Carlton ‘Cal’ Boyington has died at his home in San Pedro, California, at the age of 53.
Boyington, a Hollywood talent agent and reality TV producer who worked on The Osbournes between 2002 and 2005, died on Monday after being found unconscious in his home, according to his brother, B.G. Dickey.
His brother confirmed that a cause of death has not yet been determined but that medical professionals were examining Boyington with results pending.
Boyington’s death was first reported by Deadline, with The Hollywood Reporter further claiming: ‘A medical examiner asserted the cause was probably a heart attack, but officials won’t know definitively until the completion of toxicology tests’.
A statement issued to the news outlet reads: ‘Known for his boundless energy, magnetic personality, and zest for life, Cal was truly the life of every party.’ It adds: ‘He possessed an extraordinary ability to light up a room and bring joy to everyone he met. Those who knew Cal would attest to his unwavering passion for living each day to its fullest.’
In addition to working with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne on their show, which followed the pair and their children, Kelly and Jack, the TV producer has also worked as an unscripted agent at ICM Partners andParadigm Talent Agency as a head of alternative programming.

In recent years, he worked as VP of digital/TV at Manolin Entertainment and Rebel Entertainment Partners before pursuing his passion further by founding his own company, Vital Artists Agency.
During his career, Boyington has worked on many US-based shows, including Workaholics, R5Sons Alaska, Bible Quest, Cabo, and Baker Boys: Inside the Surge.
Boyington was not married at the time of his death and is survived by his two parents, Mike Boyington and Travis “Penny” Farrar, and younger brother.
