Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) suffers a huge and devastating loss in Coronation Street next week, just as she makes a discovery about Tim (Joe Duttine).

Towards the end of this week, Tim will allow Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) to sleep on the sofa in their home.

Initially, Sally and Tim believed they had mice in their kitchen but when they came across a bag in the shed, they established someone had been living there.

Mason was sent back to Young Offenders in September, after Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) set him up for stealing a customer’s purse at Speed Daal.

He confessed to being homeless to Tim after attempting to steal his bag back from Street Cars. Feeling sorry for the troublesome teen, Tim will allow him a bed/sofa for the night, but makes it clear that Sally cannot ever find out.

Coming up, Tim’s secret is exposed to Sally just as she discovers her mother’s ring has gone missing.

Spotting Mason and his brothers, Tim strides over and confronts them, curious as to whether they were responsible. Matty and Logan laugh in his face but Tim quickly realises Mason is scared.

Later, Tim opens the front door and discovers Mason on the step.
