Quality Street and Nescafé team up for ‘delicious’ new drink

If you think the only thing better than coffee is chocolate, you’re in for a treat. 

Quality Street has teamed up with Nescafé to create a delicious new drink based on one of the chocolate box faves.

The new Nescafé Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha sachets are now available at Morrisons.

The team-up is part of the Nescafé’s expansion of their collaboration with Nestlé, which last year saw the the introduction of the Aero Golden Honeycomb Mocha. 

As well as the Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha, fans of Aero can enjoy the Aero Peppermint Mocha – which has also just launched.

The new product was shared on the popular Facebook group New Foods UK.

‘I think this is the best Nescafé instant coffee we’ve tried in a long time! Tastes just like a Green Triangle – spot on!’ said the Facebook post. 

As expected, the post drew a lot of attention from fans, with one proclaiming that it ‘looks delicious!’

‘I want!’ simply said one commenter, while another said ‘Omg, one of my favourites in the Quality’s’

‘I’m about to spend my wage on this.’ said one bold poster. 

Other commenters were hopeful this will mean more Nescafe and Quality Street collaborations with many eager to see hot chocolate versions too.

Nescafé announced their newest team-up on their website. The statement reads: ‘Enjoy Nescafé Peppermint Aero and Quality Street Green Triangle Mochas which will join the much-loved Nescafé Golden Honeycomb Aero Mocha as part of the expansion of our partnership with two iconic chocolate brands!’

‘Discover new limited edition frothy coffees inspired by bubbly Aero, and the smooth hazelnut Quality Street you love.

The Purple One is having a transformation…

Earlier this year, Quality Street brand announced a ‘new era’ for the Purple One and the Orange Crunch, which will both be undergoing a transformation for 2024.

According to Nestlé, the sweets are still the same ones you have always known and loved in terms of taste, however they’ve had a bit of a makeover, with both varieties taking on a brand new shape to look more like the Caramel Swirl.

As well as this change, the Orange Crunch has also got a new wrapper, moving from a foil one to a paper wrapper.

The change comes after a successful trial at the end of 2023, which saw the new The Purple One sold in a number of bags. Some chocolate fans might also have eaten the new Orange Crunch over the Christmas period as it went out in a limited number of tubs, cartons, and tins in the run up to December 25.
