Bebe Rexha has claimed she could ‘bring down a big chunk’ of the music industry if she ‘spoke up’ about her real experiences.

In a series of frustrated posts she shared on X on Tuesday, the tearful hitmaker suggested that things are going on behind the scenes in the music industry that she could expose.

‘I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I Have been UNDERMINED,’ Bebe wrote. ‘I’ve been so quiet for the longest time.’

‘I haven’t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS,’ the 34-year-old, who has worked with the likes of Dolly Parton, continued.

‘And when I have spoken up I’ve been silence [sic] and PUNISHED by this industry. Things must change or I’m telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly,’ she vowed in a tweet seen 2.5million times.

In the comments section, one fan pointed out that Bebe wasn’t originally credited as a featured artist on David Guetta’s 2015 track Hey Mama, despite co-writing the song and recording the chorus and backing vocals.

She also claimed that fans hadn’t even ‘heard 5 percent’ publicly of what she had gone through, adding: ‘You have NO IDEA.’

The Take Me Home singer was then asked if she was sharing the post to promote her new song, I’m The Drama, which was released on Sunday.

Fan @emmamaezin quipped, ‘Doing this during promoting a new single I’m The Drama is perfect timing – marketing or not!’ to which Bebe responded: ‘Marketing? I have no budget for that. I’M FED UP.’

The singer soon returned to X to admit that she ‘felt hopeless’.

‘This is not just coming from a place of anger. It’s sadness. I’m sitting in my hotel room in London crying my eyes out,’ she revealed.

‘I’ve felt hopeless for the longest time. I’ve been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me.’
