The iconic singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor has revealed that she is set to go on a massive tour.
The pop star, 45, has announced that in 2025 she is set to take on her biggest-ever UK headline tour, including a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The British artist will kick off her 15-city tour in Glasgow on May 24, then head to Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, completing the tour in London on June 12.
The singer has had a career spanning 25 years with five top 10 albums and eight top 10 singles over the decades.
She has had major success with Take Me Home, Get Over You, Heartbreak (Make Me a Dancer) and Murder on the Dancefloor which had major success in 2023.
The bop was released in 2001 and was a well-known hit in the UK but had a second life in the US and for the younger generation after Emerald Fennell’s hit film Saltburn.
The use of the song in the film led to a huge resurgence, charting at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and at number 58 on the Billboard Top 100, with the song reaching over 11 billion global streams across all streaming and social platforms.

Tickets are available to purchase via artist and O2 presale at 9am on Wednesday, October 30.
For eager fans, Ticketmaster and venue presale will begin at 9am on Thursday, October 31.
The general sale begins at 9am on Friday, November 1.

Speaking about her excitement about the tour Sophie commented: ‘This year has been full of amazing tour dates around the world, and it has been so much fun.

‘It will be wonderful to bring the disco fun to everyone! Headlining The Royal Albert Hall in London is a bit of a dream and it’s going to be very special.’
