Thieves broke into a store and stole more than 100 shoes – but just the right-footed ones.

The weird incident unfolded at the Sole Bros 513 store on October 8, with the owner, Hunter Emigh, finding a pile of open shoeboxes scattered inside and around the open door of the storage room.

Emigh took to Facebook last Thursday to post photos of the mess and ask for help in nailing the suspect.

Two of the images showed dozens of shoeboxes opened and mostly of Nike brand and of the Jordan line.

‘I know someone’s boy has a limp now after jumping out the window. I know someone knows the drunk dude who took over 100 right shoes,’ wrote Emigh.

‘I know someone knows the lady who knows she shouldn’t have been there.’

Emigh also shared a short clip from CCTV footage outside his store showing a man in a red hoodie and matching sweatpants and with a large duffel bag, drinking a beverage and then handing it to a man in a matching dark-colored outfit.

Both men had their hoods over their heads and the one in the dark-colored outfit was wearing a mask.

A black-and-white video from inside the store showed a man shining a light on shelves and holding an armful of shoes.

In another video, the man in the dark-colored outfit spoke on a cell phone and appeared to be limping as he walked away outside.

Emigh also shared an image of a woman wearing glasses and a plaid jacket and holding a large white bag.

Police did release details on the possible suspects.

Also stolen from Emigh’s store in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, were several full pairs of shoes, many pieces of clothing and other items and personal belongings.

‘We appreciate all of the love and support during this difficult time, and we hope to come back even stronger,’ he wrote.
