Kate Beckinsale and Eamonn Holmes teamed up for a night out fans ‘never saw happening.’
The Underworld actress, 51, shared multiple pictures of the GB News presenter, 64, on Instagram after bumping into him at a party.
Kate wore a white flower crop top and black skirt as she posed with Eamonn, who looked dapper in a tuxedo.
In another photo, the former This Morning presenter pulled a face as Kate held onto a cucumber and lemons in the shape of a penis – or ‘suggestive veg’ as she put it.
The Pearl Harbour star cpationed the post: ‘I don’t know what to say. When you see @eamonnholmes at a party the urge to ask him to pose with suggestive veg is unprecedented for reasons even I don’t understand.
‘This did not happen when I met @springsteen so I have to conclude it’s either intrinsic to Eamonn or something to do with the approaching harvest festival.’

Eamonn also shared his own appreciation of Kate, explaining he an ‘ambition fulfilled’ night after being social media friends for years.
He wrote: ‘After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale.’
The TV broadcaster and Kate’s followers were baffled but amused by the unlikely duo, with Instagram account muckysticky writing: ‘You’re outrageous and I’m here for it.’

It comes after Eamonn recently returned home with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, after a luxury Mediterranean cruise.
He was pictured following Katie through Heathrow Airport in a wheelchair, after suffering from health issues in recent years.

Eamonn slipped three discs in his back in 2021, losing ‘full mobility’, and has spoken about his chronic pain and difficulty walking.
The broadcaster and relationship counsellor Katie grew close after his split from his wife of 14 years Ruth Langsford, 64.
The Loose Women star has now reportedly hired a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer after claims she was left shocked over his holiday.
