Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed has announced he is set to become a first-time dad.
The 37-year-old said he was ‘so excited’ to start a family after revealing his girlfriend Ellie Sargeant was eight weeks pregnant with their baby.
Jack’s news comes 15 years after Big Brother star Goody died aged 27 after a battle with cervical cancer. The couple married one month before her death.
Speaking about Essex PA Ellie’s pregnancy, Jack told The Sun: ‘I’ve always wanted kids. I am so excited.’
He also heartbreakingly admitted he felt ‘guilty’ about finding happiness after Goody’s tragic loss.
Jack said: ‘I’ve always felt guilty, but now I finally I think I’ve accepted it, and I don’t feel that guilt anymore, really, about it.

‘I feel like it’s acceptable to move on, and I think she’d want the same thing as well.’
Still, Jack remains dedicated to his late wife, often sharing old photographs of the pair together on Instagram and fundraising for cancer charities in her memory – now helped by Ellie, who he has been with for over two years.
In February, marked his and Goody’s 15th wedding anniversary by sharing an image from their ceremony: Goody in a white gown speaking into a microphone from the top table, while Jack, dressed in a tuxedo, appeared emotional alongside her.
He wrote: ‘Married 15 years ago today,’ along with a heart and praying hands emoji.

And he added an important message: ‘Don’t miss your cervical screening test.’
Jack included a link to the NHS website advising on how to book a cervical screening appointment.
Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2008 after she missed an appointment to get abnormal cells removed. The cancer spread to her bowel, liver and groin and she died in 2009
In 2022, Jack spoke to Metro.co.uk where he said that even as the years pass, the grief doesn’t go away, explaining ‘you don’t really get over it, you jjujst learn to live with it.’

He said his charity work has made it feel like Goody is ‘back in my life a little bit, so it’s helping me.’
Jack began dating Goody in 2006 and the pair appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together the following year.
They married in 2009 at Down Hall country house near Hatfield Heath, after Jack proposed by the River Thames.
