Emmerdale’s Beth Cordingly has left fans delighted with her return to social media.
In September, the Ruby Fox-Miligan actress told her followers she’d be taking a break from the platform Instagram.
The 47-year-old didn’t give a reason as to why, but shared in a new post: ‘Hi guys, we [Beth and the cat] are having a few weeks away from social media, aren’t we?
‘Sending you all love – I’ll see you on the other side.’
Fans expressed their concern in the comments with @webkinney replying: ‘Aww I will miss your posts. You are such a lovely lady. We appreciate you! I look forward to your return. Much love x.’
@samanthawoods4044 added: ‘Oh no hope you are OK? Always be you. Don’t let anyone suppressant that. Your happiness is so important, don’t let others p*ss on it. Take care lovely x.’

Thankfully, Beth’s antics on social media will no doubt continue soon, as a video posted to her Instagram has confirmed she’s back online – and it’s her birthday!
Sitting on a train, the star says ‘Hello, I’ve missed you all, so I’m back.’
Pointing to her birthday badge, she laughs and confirms she’s spending her big day…on a train.
Interestingly, drama somewhat mirrored real-life for Beth a few days ago when her character Ruby decided to take a break herself, but not from updating her Insta page.
She chose to leave the village after the sudden death of her mum, and decided to try and fix her relationship with son Nicky (Lewis Cope).
With that in mind, Caleb (William Ash) arrived home with a plane ticket, having spoken to Suni, who assisted him in arranging a trip for Ruby to visit Nicky, with the hopes that the mother and son duo can get back on the same page.

‘That’s really quite thoughtful’, said Ruby, having not expected Caleb to go to such lengths to win back her trust after finding out he robbed her of a final chance to make things right with Helen.
Caleb intended to stay in the village while Ruby goes off on her trip but he encouraged her to do whatever she needs to help herself heal.
