Harry Redknapp has tipped Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson for a ‘prolific season’ after he ‘outfoxed’ West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Jackson scored twice and provided an assist for teammate Cole Palmer as the Blues conjured up a brilliant 3-0 away victory in the Premier League.
It means the 23-year-old Senegal international has now registered four goals and two assists across his opening five top-flight appearances of the 2024-25 season.
Redknapp has picked both Jackson and Palmer in his Premier League Team of the Week for BetVictor, naming the former player as his ‘star man’.
‘I’ll say this quietly, but Cole Palmer is putting up numbers that could rival Erling Haaland’s,’ Redknapp said.
‘He got on the scoresheet again this week with that expertly taken goal to put Chelsea 3-0 up away at West Ham.
‘He creates chances and goals constantly, making him the complete attacker. To go away in a London derby and keep a clean sheet like that will give Chelsea a right boost!
