Some EastEnders favourites are about to be hit with some mammoth shocks next week – with the return of Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) throwing everything into chaos for Martin Fowler (James Bye).

He has only just discovered from Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that Ruby has given birth to his baby but when she rocks up, it becomes clear that the big bombshells are only just beginning…

Meanwhile, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) continues to struggle but there’s another massive surprise in store when she discovers that she’s pregnant.

But is this something she is ready for given everything going on?

Speaking of surprises, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) makes a discovery about Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) after being confused by her reaction to a Drag Queen at her hen do…

Sharon prepares to tell Martin that Ruby gave birth to his baby but can’t find the right time.

Instead, Martin is focused on quizzing Mr Lister about the closure of Bridge Street market. Later, in The Vic, Sharon tells Martin that Chrissie revealed Ruby was inside with her but left to give birth and he has a son.

Stunned, Martin confides in Stacey, who questions whether it’s true. However, Sharon produces a birth certificate, leaving Martin floored.
