Chaos as both Coronation Street and Emmerdale are pulled in schedule shake-up

If you’re thinking of tuning into ITV tonight (26th June) for your Wednesday dose of Coronation Street or Emmerdale, you’ll be left disappointed – they’re airing Euro 2024 instead.

With the schedules in disarray, Metro.co.uk has created a full guide with a look ahead to the next 2 weeks of sports coverage, which also now includes the Wimbledon tennis championships on BBC One.

What is replacing the soaps on ITV1 tonight?

Following a shorter ITV Evening News, there’s coverage of Georgia vs Portugal, which kicks off at 8pm.

Will there be any further disruption?

The first game of the group stages kicked off on Friday, June 14 – so expect plenty of disruption for the next few weeks until it concludes on July 14.

Luckily, ITVX have followed BBC iPlayer’s lead by adding episodes onto their streaming service from 7am on the morning of broadcast, so that you have some freedom on when you want to watch them.
