It’s been a big week for fans of Cadbury chocolate. First the iconic brand announced it was re-launching an iconic discontinued bar from the 90s.

And now the confectionery giant has revealed its going to be partnering with an incredibly popular biscuit brand —  Lotus Biscoff.

Mondelēz International, which owns Cadbury, as well as Milka, shared the exciting news that they are joining forces with Lotus Bakeries to develop ‘exciting new chocolate products’ in Europe.

They claim the partnership will allow both companies potential opportunities to expand into additional markets.

While the new products are still in the early development stages, the first one is expected to launch in early 2025 in the UK, combining Cadbury chocolate with the unique, caramelised, crunchy Biscoff.

Milka and Biscoff items are also going to be available in Europe around the same time.

A spokesperson for Mondelēz International told Metro.co.uk: ‘Mondelēz International and Lotus Bakeries are excited to start working together to develop and market co-branded chocolate products in Europe, with potential options to expand into additional markets.

‘While specific formats are still in the early stages of development, we’re aiming to bring new innovations to the chocolate category that will surprise and delight consumers.

‘We expect the first co-branded Cadbury and Biscoff products to launch in the UK in early 2025, so do keep your eyes peeled for more news closer to the time!’

Unsurprisingly, Cadbury fans are going wild over the news, with many already speculating on social media about what the new products could be.
