Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is hiding a huge secret in Coronation Street which is set to have huge ramifications.
It was clear that Betsy had something on her mind in tonight’s episode, and it didn’t take her long to open up to best friend Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) about what was getting her down.
Throughout the episode, it became clear that Betsy was somehow involved in Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) drugging of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).
Sabrina was quick to offer advice, pointing out that Betsy could end up going to prison for her actions, and encouraging her to tell her mum.
Later, when Betsy met DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) for lunch, she attempted to do just that – though things didn’t quite go to plan.
