Emeli Sandé is teaming up with some huge pop stars and celebrities guests for a special charity fundraiser.

The Read All About It singer and multi-time Brit Award winner will come together with 90s boy band Damage and Another Level star Dane Bowers in Manchester next month.

Emeli will headline the Colour Ball on June 27, with former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay hosting the night.

The event is in aid of the Sedulo Foundation, which seeks to help young people affected by poverty and social and economic disadvantages in some of the UK’s major cities.

Angie Brown and Ben Ofoedu of Phats & Small are also set to perform, and Coleen Rooney will be there to support the worthy cause.

Other famous faces and business leaders are expected at the annual event, which raised a ned donation of £125,000 on its inaugural night in 2023.

Since its launch last year, the Sedulo Foundation has provided 2,500 young people with school essentials, sanitary products and Christmas gifts, plus a further £22,000 of Christmas vouchers.

The latest campaign has seen young women provided with 12 months worth of sanitary products in a bid to tackle the growing problem of period poverty.

The Sedulo Foundation was launched by mid-tier financial advisory firm Sedulo, which has been supporting young people for the past 15 years.

Cathryn Wright, Chair of the Sedulo Foundation, said: ‘The 2024 Sedulo Foundation Colour Ball is shaping up to be an incredible evening as we bring together some of the biggest names from music, entertainment and business to help raise essential funds for some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK.

‘The Sedulo Foundation has already started to make a huge difference, but we want to do even more.

‘Nights like this will help us to achieve that goal, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has pledged their support, as well as the brilliant line-up of artists, including Emeli, Damage, Dane, Angie, Sally and all of those involved.’
