If you go all in and buy a Maybach, with every option, you’re in the $225,000 plus range for a very exclusive, very luxurious and very high performance Mercedes Benz SUV.
To showcase these full size MBZ SUV models, this week Mercedes Benz sent me a 2024 GLS with a base window sticker price of $145,850. The options on this AMG 63 edition are: the metallic paint for $1,750, the AMG leather interior upgrade for $250, the carbon fiber trim for $1,750, the AMG steering wheel for $500, the AMG alloy wheels for $5,150, the dash cam mount for $200, the warmth and comfort package for $1,100, and the AMG night trim package for $750. The manufactures suggested retail price (MSRP) , including the $1,150 destination and delivery fee, minus the $600 AMG equipment discount, is: $157,850.
After adding in the state and local sales tax, plus the DMV and dealers fees, the out the door and in your garage total purchase price came to: $177,581. At just under $178,000, this MBZ AMG GLS 63 SUV is a very unique, full size, high performance, luxury SUV.
Speed, handling and comfort are the fine points of an AMG 63, and this vehicle has it all.
At this level of power and luxury, there are only a handful of competitors. The AMG GLS 63 Mercedes Benz stands tall as it’s one of the fastest SUV’s on the planet.
