Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon in Stockton’s Park District in the 1500 Block of Walnut Street around 11:19 a.m., police said.

The woman allegedly resisted arrest, and officers used force to detain her, according to police.

The victim attempted to interfere with the arrest, police said, and officers used force to keep him back.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest, police said.
