Phoebe Gates, the 21-year-old daughter of Bill Gates, has confirmed her relationship with Arthur Donald, the grandson of Paul McCartney, in an Instagram post.

The daughter of the former Microsoft CEO shared a carousel of pictures from her Stanford University graduation as part of a feature with Nylon Magazine.

One photo posted Friday showed Donald, 25, giving her a piggyback ride. She captioned it: “My boyfriend, Arthur, giving me a lift post-ceremony.” She also shared a photo in the article that showed her posing and hugging Donald later in the evening.

“With Arthur, he cleans up nicely,” she added. Phoebe Gates previously declined to comment on the relationship.

Arthur is the eldest son of Mary McCartney and her ex-husband, TV producer Alistair Donald, while Phoebe is the youngest of Bill and Melinda Gates’ three children.

During a 2022 interview with Women’s Wear Daily, she shared that Paul McCartney’s daughter Stella and her mom are “good friends.”
