ANTIOCH — Police are asking people to avoid the 1000 block of Stonecrest Drive due to police activity, the Antioch Police Department said in a post on social media.

Police are working on a “contained emergency situation,” according to the post, that requires the area to be kept clear for first responders.
Authorities said that there is no threat to the public. Residents in the area are asked to shelter in place until further notice.
