Another Kate Middleton Appearance Could Be on the Way Soon, Commentators Claim: ‘If She Can, I’m Sure She Would Love to Do It’

Public appearances by Kate Middleton may be few and far between as she continues to focus on her health. However, the 2024 Trooping the Colour celebration may not be the last the world sees of the Princess of Wales this summer. Commentators predict Kate may step out at another big event that’s become a “firm fixture” on her summer schedule.

Kate hopes to make more appearances this summer

King Charles III’s annual birthday parade on June 15, 2024, marked the start of what Kate hopes will be the start of more public appearances in the months ahead

Offering an update on her cancer treatment the day before appearing at Trooping the Colour, Kate shared she wants to step out publicly more as she’s made “good progress” despite still experiencing “good days and bad days.”

Kate participated in the traditional carriage ride. She stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony and watched a flyover alongside Prince William and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. Additionally, she notably stood shoulder to shoulder with her father-in-law, the king.

Beyond Trooping the Colour, Kate looked to the future. She said she “hope[s] to join a few public engagements over the summer. But equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet,” (via Instagram).

Kate also said she’s “learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty.” Furthermore, that she is “taking each day as it comes, listening to” her “body and allowing” herself “this much needed [sic] time to heal.”

Wimbledon may be Kate’s next big appearance

For those who might’ve thought about the royal family’s summer schedule and where Kate might make an appearance, consider Wimbledon.

Some commentators expect to see Kate next at the annual London, England, tennis tournament. That is, despite Kensington Palace’s lack of confirmation on any future appearances.

“They have said we might see her again over the summer,” Jack Royston, a royal correspondent, told Sky News (via Newsweek). “I would be looking at Wimbledon as a possibility.”

“She loves tennis, and I don’t think anyone would begrudge her going out and enjoying herself. It all just comes down to how she’s feeling.”

Wimbledon takes place July 1-14, 2024, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. If Kate were to attend, she could potentially step out twice in one month—a big feat considering she went six months without a public appearance.

“Them saying, ‘You may see her again over the summer,’ is not them promising anything,” Royston added. “There’s no contract there. If she can, I’m sure she would love to do it.”

Royal expert and author Katie Nicholl echoed Royston’s comments about Wimbledon being a possibility for Kate.

“She spoke in that very personal message about wanting to be able to do the things that bring her joy,” Nicholl told ET. “I think that’s being in nature, that’s being with …read more
