These Twitch Streamers Are All About The Good Inclusive Vibes


When we started Refinery29 Twitch, we knew we wanted to use it not only to provide a fun, safe space for women and non-binary folks to share in their love of gaming, but also to spotlight the pros, gamers, and streamers who are pushing the status quo in the industry both online and IRL. But with a vast world of content creators competing for attention on Twitch alone, finding streamers who you love can be a challenge. 

Enter Tuesday Takeovers, where we invite some of our fave under-the-radar streamers onto our channel to do what they do best: game. Think of it as the Discover Weekly of Twitch where you’ll have two hours of guaranteed entertainment weekly, while also discovering talented streamers who are more than worthy of you clicking the follow or subscribe button. Ahead, read on to meet the Twitch streamers who are all about inclusivity, connecting with others, and having fun.

ChellOAG

ChellOAG is a self-described “loquacious, boisterous, and hellacious gamer with a big personality.” She plays pretty much everything except shooter games, but has a particular fondness for indie titles, multiplayer horror games, and fighting game Tekken 8. Above all, she aims to bring positive energy at every possible moment and is always eager to share a smile and try to brighten someone’s day.

Beeluxi

Calling all Pokémon fans: You need to add Beeluxi’s Twitch channel to your regular streaming rotation. A chatty streamer, her content focuses on all things Pokémon, such as Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but she also enjoys chatting about maintaining a positive mindset and being a woman in the gaming/streaming space.

GPTV

GPTV (aka Girls Play) is a group of seven women and non-binary folks — Sydney, Maddie, Niki, Bells, Alicia, Lindsey, and Mar — who share a love for each other, their community, and gaming. They started their group back in 2013, and today they are variety streamers who want to showcase their energetic personalities while encouraging others to embrace their own creativity and individuality.

HeroKerrey

Have you ever come across a streamer on Twitch playing Just Dance while wearing a green-screen suit? Then you might already be familiar with HeroKerrey, because that’s exactly the kind of delightful content you’ll find on her channel. She’s also a woman in STEM and a member of the Twitch Women’s Guild, and uses her channel to raise money for charities close to her heart — to date, she’s raised over $20,000. When she’s not streaming, she loves cooking, training her dog to do new tricks, and, of course, gaming.

OMJess

Why is OMJess a “true” variety streamer?
