US pop sensation Billie Eilish was left stunned when an object hit her in the face mid-performance.
The Bad Guy hitmaker, 22, was sitting cross-legged on the edge of the stage when the incident occurred, midway through her gorgeous tune What Was I Made For? from the Barbie soundtrack.
As Billie showcased her hauntingly beautiful vocals on her epic Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, she was suddenly struck in the head by what appeared to have been a bracelet.
The object was certainly thrown with force, as footage captured from the crowd.
Billie turned her head away at the last moment, as flinching seemingly allowed her to avoid any real injury.
The packed audience erupted into boos and gasps as it happened, but the Grammy winner stayed professional, laughing it off and carrying on with the number.

She then calmly picked up the item and threw it to one side, totally unbothered.
However, as a video began circulating online, it didn’t take long for fans to express their anger at what happened.
‘This style of intimate performances will be going away soon. Artists will be performing behind mesh screens like we’re watching them through a microwave door’, wrote bhadbentley on X following a scary craze of fans lobbing items at stars.
User colbyangel333 wrote: ‘she handled it well i would’ve called time out’.
‘Common decency and courtesy is thrown out the window when we forget that celebrities and artists are human too’, argued cogniflux.
Others branded the behaviour ‘rude’ and said it shows a ‘lack of respect’.
‘Throwing stuff at artists on stage needs to stop before someone gets seriously hurt’, stated Rockstar82vansh.

‘This behavior (throwing things at artists) is a concerning trend that disrupts the enjoyment of live events for everyone involved’, agreed parliapics.
Indeed, this is far from the first time an artist has been hit with an object while performing.
Last year, there was a trend of concertgoers throwing anything and anything at the stage to capture the attention of their favourite stars.
Country music icon Kelsea Ballerini was rushed off stage after a bracelet was lobbed at her eye, after which she urged her fans to stay safe.
‘If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don’t throw things, you know?’, Kelsa told the audience.
