Netflix fans are loving It’s What’s Inside, a psychological thriller that has been praised as the best movie of the year.

It’s What’s Inside is a psychological thriller that launched on Netflix on October 4.

The film has already made its way to the top 10 films on Netflix in the UK as fans have begun to uncover this hidden gem on the site.

The film had a budget of just $2.5 million (£ 1.9 million) and was first presented to audiences at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2024.

Shortly after Netflix acquired worldwide distribution rights to the film for a whopping $17 million (£12.9 million) – in the largest deal made at the festival edition in 2024.

The movie stars up-and-coming actors including Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Gavin Leatherwood, Nina Bloomgarden, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Reina Hardesty.

The synopsis reads: ‘A group of friends gather for a pre-wedding party that descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend arrives with a mysterious game that awakens long-hidden secrets, desires, and grudges.’
