SAN JOSE — Four men were shot in an incident early Sunday morning, police said.
Authorities were called to a report of gunshots on the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue at 2:58 a.m., according to a social media post from the San Jose Police Department.
When officers arrived on scene, they did not locate any gunshot victims, authorities said. They were later notified that four men self-transported to hospitals, where they received treatment for their injuries.
Lincoln Avenue between Franquette Avenue and Curtner Avenue will be closed for a “significant” length of time, police added.
Authorities ask that residents avoid the area and use alternate routes while police investigate.
