After Raiders victory, coach Jon Gruden mocks Bears disco celebration; ‘Let’s all start dancing!’

After the Chicago Bears defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4, the Bears repaired to their locker room which was decked out as an honest-to-Roger-Goodell 1970s-era disco. You are dubious. You should be. But it’s true. Step into Club Dub. If Richard Gere, Andy Warhol and Liza Minelli weren’t there, their spirits were:

Apparently Raiders coach Jon Gruden became aware of the Bears’ postgame celebration. And God bless Chuckie, he just couldn’t hold back the feeling after the Raiders’ victory Sunday over the Bears in London.

“I don’t have a disco,” Gruden said to his victorious players. “But let’s all start dancing!”

Then the Raiders coach throttled down from mock/gloat mode and launched into standard head coach effusive speak.

“I’ll say this man, I’m 56 years old, that’s the most fun I’ve ever had at night. I’m so proud of you, you have no idea. We’ve been through a roller coaster already, but what’s true today is one thing. You can beat anybody, anywhere, on any (expletive) time zone. We’re going to have a great flight home. We have some injuries. I want everybody to have a good bye week.”
