When will the first Strictly couple be eliminated?

The couples will receive their first scores at the first live show scheduled for September 23.

However, there will be no elimination on the first live show.

That will instead come the week after – Sunday, October 1, 2023 – which will see the couples have their scores combined from weeks one and two before facing a public vote.

Bobby Brazier initially became the bookies’ favourite to win the competition, but we still have many weeks ahead before the line-up comes down to the final few.

Bobby himself told radiotimes.com he thought the reason he was the early favourite was ‘just because I’m young.’

He went on to say: ‘They have no reason to think that. It’s just because I’m young and apparently quite fun.’

Who will ultimately lift the glitterball trophy?

We’ll have to wait and see.
