Soul Town Festival is back

Soul Town Festival will be returning for another year with a line-up just as star-studded as the last.

This year’s event will take place at Croydon Recreation Ground in Beckenham, Kent, and will see UB40 entertaining the crowds with their reggae classics, as well as Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge. Tunde Baiyewu of Lighthouse Family fame is also on the bill alongside Omar, Desmond Decker & The Aces, and Motown greats Edwin Starr Band.

Many other acts will be announced in the coming months before the festival arrives on September 2 and 3, 2023.

Soul Town Festival is a perfect two-day escape with plenty of musical magic, boasting more than 65 artists, over 40 food vendors as well as dancers, rides, attractions, live steel bands, face painting, glitter stalls, hair braiding, fashion and craft stalls, among other activities.

The new and improved location is a beautiful lush green space in Beckenham with more bars, more staff, more toilets and improved disabled access and viewing points.

You’ll have all the food and drink you could possibly want, including a Pimms bus with a terrace on the grounds, as well as a premium gin garden and cocktail beach, while there will be a variety of food dishes on offer from Caribbean to wood fire pizzas.
