A resurfaced clip from 2014 shows Gregg Wallace telling his Strictly Come Dancing partner he ‘doesn’t wear underwear’.
The presenter, 60, is best known for co-presenting MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and MasterChef: The Professionals.
However, he stepped down from the show earlier this week after it was announced the BBC was undertaking an investigation into historical allegations of misconduct against him.
He’s been accused by 13 people who have worked with him over the years of making inappropriate sexual comments while three women have also come forward with allegations that the presenter groped them in different incidents on and off set.
Wallace’s lawyers have said the claims against him were ‘entirely false’ with the TV star later sharing a video on social media to ‘thank all the people getting in touch, reaching out and showing their support’.
In the wake of the claims made against him, a clip from a decade ago when Wallace appeared on Strictly has emerged.
The TV star, then 50, competed on the BBC dancing series with Aliona Vilani however they were the first couple to be eliminated after their first two performances saw them only pick up scores of 18 from the judges.
In a short clip shared by the show on YouTube a decade ago, the pair are rehearsing when a move sees his pants nearly split.
Looking down in shock, Wallace then reveals to his dance partner, then aged 30, that he isn’t wearing any pants.
‘We had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction,’ she told the camera.
After the near miss, he laughed and dropped this on his partner.

‘I’ll tell you something else as well…I don’t wear underwear,’ he said while laughing.
After she quietly replied ‘yea, yea, yea’ and walked around him he went on.
‘No, no it’s true!’ he enthusiastically said before Aliona asked if he was ‘for real’.
‘I never wear underwear. I wear socks,’ he continued as she walked away and looked disgusted, leaning up against a speaker and throwing her hand to her face.
Speaking to the camera she explained: ‘I’m just way too distressed about the situation.’
The camera then cut to her declaring ‘oh my god put it away’ before he added: ‘I haven’t worn a pair of pants since I was about 17 years old.’

The clip ended with him saying: ‘What worries me is I’m going to be the butt of everyone’s jokes.’
Wallace previously spoke about ‘hating’ his experience on Strictly and suggested his dance partner didn’t like him.
Speaking to OK! magazine in 2021, Wallace said he ‘absolutely hated’ being on the show.
‘I love dancing, but if I were paired with somebody who liked me then I would have done better,’ he said.
