After mass break-up speculation, false contracts and football game absences – are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are on the rocks after a high-profile year long relationship?
The pop star and NFL athlete, both 34, have captured the world’s attention with their unexpected love story after they started dating in September 2023 following the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s attempt to give a friendship bracelet to the hitmaker.
Soon enough Taylor became a fixture at Travis’ games, with fans spotting the singer cheering her boyfriend on from the stands at most matches, until now.
As the football season starts up once more, fans have noted that Taylor was missing from both of Travis’ games (in which he had has been called out for his poor performances) .
First, against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta last weekend and then the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday September 29.
The break-up concerns were only fuelled by a falsified contract circulating on social media earlier this month that claimed the couple planned to mutual end their relationship amicably to concentrate on their ‘careers and personal growth’.
What’s more the alleged date was set to be September 28, just a day before Travis’ latest game.

Both Travis’s representatives and the company alleged to be behind the contract, Full Scope, have categorically denied the contract is real.
‘Identifying the perpetrator may prove challenging, but the company is taking the matter very seriously,’ the PR company said in a statement.
‘We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.’
Now, a new source close to the couple has explained the reason behind her suspiciously-timed absences – and its all to do with security concerns.
‘If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,’ a Page Six source said. Arrowhead Stadium is the Chiefs’ home stadium that Taylor has attended games at several times (although she has also performed her own shows at SoFi stadium in the past)
‘She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.’
Security concerns concerning the global music artist have been heightened since she was forced to cancel a trio of shows in Vienna, Austria for her Eras Tour due to a foiled terror attack in August that planned to target thousands of fans, according to the CIA.
