An exciting new collab just dropped at McDonald’s and it’s all kinda of kawaii.

Yu-Gi-Oh! and Hello Kitty have teamed up with Maccies, to offer limited edition Happy Meals.

Each come with a toy featuring an iconic Hello Kitty character – but they’ve been given a Yi-Gi-Oh makeover.

Worlds also collide on the Happy Meal package, which features the white cat side-by-side with Yami Yugi.

Available from Wednesday May 8, there are 10 new plush toys to collect.

And, while we know Happy Meals are aimed at children, we won’t judge if you’re a Millennial who wants a dose of nostalgia. Who can remember sneaking Yu-Gi-Oh! cards into school or proudly displaying a Hello Kitty pencil case?

Customers can also scan the QR code found on the Happy Meal box, to create a digital version of their very own toy and see it come to life in an animated story.

For the customers dining in the restaurant, children will also receive either a Hello Kitty or Yami Yugi Headband, flag and activity sheet.

And parents ordering via Drive-Thru or Delivery can also collect a bespoke Yu-Gi-Oh! X Hello Kitty and Friends game and activity sheet to play with their children at home.

The collection marks the first anime happy meal for McDonald’s UK, as the Hello Kitty brand celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Pompompurin x Exodia The Forbidden One

The golden retriever, who usually wears a brown beret, now has a gold headpiece inspired by the Exodia The Forbidden One Yu-Gi-Oh! card,

Bad Batz-Maru x Red-Eyes Black Dragon

Known for his permanent unamused facial expression, the Sanrio-designed penguin wears black dragon headpiece with red eyes.

Cinnamon Roll x Blue-Eyes White Dragon

Sanrio’s cute white puppy has a new design incorporating the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card.

Kerokerokeroppi x Kuriboh

Straight from his house on Donut Pond, the frog looks adorable wearing a brown ensemble with a close likeness to Kuriboh.

Tuxedosam x Obelisk The Tormentor

The Obelisk The Tormentor card may look menacing but merged with Tuxedosam, the smartest penguin in the Hello Kitty universe, he actually looks very adorable.
