A chip which was so long it deserved a standing ovation simply existing has been served to a lucky punter at a Wetherspoons pub.

Footage shows the chip, which appears to be longer than the serving bowl itself, being held up for all to gaze upon in wonder.

Fellow pub goers at the Ice Wharf in Camden applauded and cheered for the fried potato as the lucky customer lifted it into the air.

Someone can even be heard crying ‘oh my god’ as they set their eyes upon it.

Although no official measurement of the chip has been offered, it appears to be around 30cm in length.

The find even sparked some patriotism in the TikTok comment section, with one user writing ‘I love England’ and another saying ‘I love it when strangers come together’.
