Live coverage: BYU goes up 7-3 on Houston with Dax Milne 78-yard touchdown catch

BYU is expected to face its stiffest test when the blue-clad Cougars take on Houston Friday night.

BYU enters the game — set for a 7:30 p.m. MT kickoff at TDECU Stadium in Houston (the game is being televised on ESPN) — with a perfect 4-0 record, ending a three-game home stand last week with a 27-20 victory over UTSA.

Houston, meanwhile, comes into the game 1-0 after beating Tulane 49-31, rallying from an early 24-7 deficit to roll past the Green Wave.

BYU has the perfect response to Houston’s opening score, as Zach Wilson hits Dax Milne for a 78-yard touchdown pass on BYU’s first offensive play of the night.

Houston takes its opening drive 65 yards for a score, kicking a field goal after taking 5:07 off the clock on the 10-play drive. Quarterback Clayton Tune went 4-for-4 passing for 59 yards on the drive.
