Keanu Reeves might moonlight as feared hitman John Wick, but he was looking anything but menacing when being covered in puppies during a recent interview.
On Thursday, the actor was appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote the latest instalment in his franchise when he agreed to take part in the aptly named Pup Quiz.
The rules were pretty simple – Keanu and Jimmy each had to answer a question and if correct, they would get a golden retriever puppy to cuddle.
However, if they gave an incorrect answer, the puppy would be taken away and given to their opponent.
Whoever had the most puppies at the end would be declared the winner.
The first question put to Keanu was: ‘What is the only species of reptile native to Ireland?’

The actor immediately groaned and said he was going to be ‘terrible’ at the game, but settled on lizard and won the chance to cuddle Mr Gary Frick Jnr.
Once he realised how the game might play out though, Jimmy jumped in and said he had no desire to ‘take a puppy away from John Wick’.
But after Jimmy answered his first question wrong, Keanu was given another puppy, and was soon given two more after answering a bonus round question.
Jimmy then answered wrong again, and, you guessed it, more puppies for Keanu.
At this point he had six on his lap and declared: ‘Who’s the puppy king? I’m the puppy king.’
After the video was posted online, plenty of people said it might be one of the most heart warming TV segments they’d seen.
‘Cuteness on top of cuteness. Keanu and puppies might just be too much cuteness for my eyes to endure,’ one person commented.
‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen Keanu Reeves so happy during an interview ever,’ another added.

For the past decade Keanu has played John Wick across four films, with the latest John Wick: Chapter 4 recently being released.
Earlier this month he said there were some traits that brought him back to the character time and time again.
