Just Stop Oil (JSO) activists were hosed down at the Chelsea Flower Show after throwing their trademark orange paint at a display.
Demonstrators tossed a powder-like substance on an exhibit at the event today – as nearby spectators called out for them to stop.
Three women wearing JSO slogan t-shirts ignored cries of ‘no’, ‘stop it’ and ‘shame on you’.
They were branded ‘prats’ and ‘morons’ by onlookers, who repeatedly called for security.
The trio continued their speech despite one woman taking matters into her own hands, grabbing a garden sprinkler and giving them a soaking.
One protester said: ‘Humanity is failing. Everything that you hold dear is in peril.
‘The flower gardens that you love, the artwork that you treasure, the buildings that you adore, our traditions.

JSO tweeted footage of the incident earlier today, which showed some people clapping in support of the protesters.
The orange substance is ‘biodegradable corn starch dyed with vegan food colouring,’ the organisation said.
The incident follows claims that JSO protesters cost the Metropolitan Police more than £3.5million and nearly 11,000 officer shifts in just one month.

One man was handcuffed after trying to push protesters off the road during a demonstration.
He was filmed shoving an activist from the front row with such force he fell to the ground.
Protesters were also pushed to the ground during a ‘slow-march’ which saw signs ripped out of their hands.
