It’s one of the biggest shopping dates in the calendar each year with thousands across the world clamouring for the best deals.

We are talking, of course, about Amazon Prime Day.

Whether you’re looking to shop the latest tech, grab yourself a new home appliance as yours is on its way out, or you’re hoping to snag some essentials for the kids, Amazon’s annual event is sure to have a bargain for you.

Those with an Amazon Prime account are able to shop the best Prime Day deals, which often last over two days for you to make the most of the discounts.

While many may know to expect Prime Day every summer and shopped til they dropped this July, does the event roll around at any other times of the year?

Here’s what you need to know about Amazon Prime Day and if the same great deals strike twice.

Perfect for getting some of your Christmas shopping done early, the next Prime Day will take place from Tuesday, October 10, until the late hours of Wednesday, October 11.

As with the summer event, many deals will only be available to those subscribed to Amazon Prime.

If you sign up now, an Amazon Prime membership will set you back £8.99 per month or £95 per year.

Students get a discount, with membership costing just £4.49 per month or £47.49 per year.

If you’re not sure you want to commit to the membership, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial if you’ve not been a Prime member in the last year.

Not only will you be able to take advantage of the Prime Day deals, but you’ll also receive enhanced delivery options on Amazon Prime products such as one-day delivery, same-day delivery, and Amazon Day delivery which lets you pick the exact date you want your parcel to be delivered.

Prime members can also use Amazon Pickup where you can have your order delivered to an Amazon Pickup location.
